Data controller

Laurent Zazzera.

Data collected

The contact form is limited to information necessary to process a request: name, email address, optional organisation, optional telephone number and message content. Fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory; the others are optional.

Purposes and legal bases

Data is used to receive, review and handle enquiries, arrange an initial discussion where appropriate, take requested pre-contractual steps where relevant, and protect the form.

Where an enquiry concerns a potential engagement, processing may rely on pre-contractual steps taken at the individual’s request. Other enquiries and website security rely on the legitimate interest in responding to requests and protecting the service.

Cloudflare Turnstile

The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish legitimate use from automated or malicious submissions. The browser-generated token is always validated on the server before any email is sent. Additional controls include consistency checks, a hidden honeypot and rate limiting.

Cloudflare states that Turnstile processes only the data strictly necessary for its security function and does not access communications, form fields or other page inputs.

Recipients and technical providers

Data is intended for the controller. Strictly as necessary for the service, it may be processed by OVH for hosting, Cloudflare for Turnstile protection and audience measurement when activated, and Proton for professional email services. Data is not sold or disclosed for third-party marketing.

Retention

If an enquiry does not lead to a contractual relationship, data may be retained for no longer than three years from collection or the last contact initiated by the person concerned. If a contractual relationship begins, necessary data is retained in accordance with applicable contractual, accounting, tax and legal periods.

International transfers

Where a technical provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, processing must rely on an appropriate GDPR transfer mechanism.

Your rights

Subject to the applicable conditions, you may exercise rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and, where applicable, portability. Requests may be submitted through the website contact form or by post to the address above. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL.

Audience measurement, cookies and trackers

The website is prepared to use Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate traffic and performance statistics. According to Cloudflare, this service works without audience-measurement cookies and does not collect or use visitors’ personal data for this purpose.

No advertising tracker is planned. If a future technology requires consent, it will not be activated before the required consent mechanism is in place.

Security

Proportionate technical measures are used to limit unauthorised access, automated submissions and abusive use of the form. The Turnstile secret key is never sent to the browser.
